The above map shows projected cancer cases and percentages for selected cancers, by sex and geographic region, Canada, 2024. It is important to recognize that the projected number of cancer cases largely depends on the population size of each geographic region/territory. Quebec projected counts are calculated differently from the other provinces and territories because actual data were only available to 2017 for Quebec. Please, refer to the age-standardized incidence rate map (the second map) for comparisons across regions and populations.
